Our Cancellation Policy for Classes and Crops
Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance and 48 hours before Friday Night crops.  If you cannot make it to a class and there is less than 72 hours before the class, you will get a class kit with instructions.  For crops, you may sign up for a different crop night. If we are having a guest instructor your credit card will be charged a week before the class date and we do not offer refunds.
French Photo Collage

Have you seen the mosaic style layouts at the store and wondered how they are made?  Well Carine is here to help you figure out these unique templates!  Beginners will get started with the Stained Glass template and advanced students will be able to select the one they want to work with.  If you are a beginner please arrive at 6:30.  Please bring a good pair of scissors, removable tape, and 8 or more photos.  Photos that share a similar theme and are NOT close-ups are best.
Holiday-Themed Cards

You will be making 4 or 5 holiday-themed cards featuring Michael's unique cloisonne stamps and a variety of different techniques.  Get a head start on your holiday card-making with this class!   We will probably receive samples about 2 weeks before the class.  Please call if you want to be placed on the waiting list.

Floral Arrangements Cards

You will be making 4 or 5 cards featuring Michael's unique cloisonne vase stamps, floral cut outs, and a variety of different techniques.  Currently this class is full.  If we get enough sign ups for a second class we may be able to convince Michael to open up another session on Friday evening (September 24) so please call to put your name on a wait list if interested.

Copic Technique Class Session 3

Jane, our Copic certified teacher, is here to answer all your Copic/Sketch related questions.  This class follows Session 2 and is aimed primarily at the intermediate/Advanced level student. Please bring whatever Copic markers you have.  Some will be provided for class use as well.
Breathless Album

Come create a heart shaped book using Marah Johnson's stunning Breathless Collection! The book will hold ten 3" x 5" photos and uses May Arts Ribbon and tons of embellishments. We'll be making a ribbon flower and using Luminarte and alcohol inks. It's packed with fun techniques and has a ton of texture.
You can dedicate this book to your love, your kids, a wedding, a prom, a graduation, your favorite collections, or anything you love and want to record. You'll cherish this book and not want to give it away!

Supplies Needed:
   * Scissors
   * Crop-a-dile
   * Strong Wet Glue (I recommend Helmar 450 Quick Dry)
   * X-acto Knife
   * Rub-on tool (popsicle stick or bone folder)
   * Favorite adhesive
   * Black Pen (I use ultra fine Sharpies)


Sampler September Class 1: Canvas Shadowbox
Date: TBA (This class was originally scheduled for Sept. 12, but it will be changed.)

Fee: $20 if you have the Sept. Sampler kit; $40 if you don't have the kit

If you've oohed and aahed over the gorgeous shadowbox hanging behind the front counter, this is your chance to make your own!  Alaina, who designs projects using our monthly Sampler kits, has created this class featuring elements of the September kit.  As with all our Sampler-based classes, kit members bring their kits to the class and pay a reduced fee.  Please bring scissors, adhesive (dry and wet), brown ink pad, and a distressor if you have one.
 
Butterfly Birdhouse

We've had so many questions about the birdhouse Holly created out of the Maya Road Villa and countless Prima and Ranger products that we have finally decided to offer this project as a class.  Be prepared - this is NOT a short class.  You will be doing a LOT of techniques and cutting and painting up a storm.  But you will have a piece of art that will be sure to impress your friends and family!   Supplies needed: trimmer, precision scissors, adhesive (wet) and foam brushes.

Trick or Treat Mini Album

Join Sarah as she creates a SPOOKtacular mini album for all your upcoming Halloween memories. The mini album will feature the latest Heebies Jeebies line from We R Memory Keepers, and it will include pockets and tags for those extra photos and notes. You will learn how to distress and create FRIGHTFUL and delightful pages to look at for years to come. During the class you will learn how to bind your very own mini album using the popular tool the Bind It All by Zutter.

Supplies to bring: Paper trimmer, scissors, tape runner, glue dots, foam adhesive
Boo-rific Halloween Cards & Treatholders

What a fun way to hide chocolate!  Jane will show you a quick and easy treat holder that pulls out Trader Joe's Semi-Sweet mini bars.  With it comes two lollipops that are decorated with punches and designer paper.  A large matchbook-style card holder hosts two boo-rific cards.  Fun, easy and no stamping or coloring!  These projects feature Best Creations' patterned glitter paper. (If you're not a stamper, this is the card class for you!)  Children ages 7 and up accompanied by an adult are welcome to join in on the fun as well!

Suggested supplies to bring to class:  Paper trimmer with scoring and cutting blades, adhesive, pop-up dots, stapler and sandpaper
Beginner's Scrapbooking Class

Are you interested in starting your own scrapbook, but have no idea where to start?  Do you walk into a scrapbook store and feel overwhelmed by all the options?  Join Sarah in this beginner level class and she will take you through all the basics of scrapbooking.  You'll learn about the different types of tools, adhesives, and embellishments and more importantly, how to use them!  Bring 8-12 photos (so you'll have some choices when you start your layout) and if you have one, a portable trimmer.  You will leave the class with a finished two page layout.  Some materials are included in the class fee.
Fun with Quilling: Halloween Notecards

Chitra is finally back and she has a set of three fun Halloween-themed 4x4 cards featuring different icons - a dangling spider, candy corns, and a pumpkin.  You'll be learning one main technique that can be manipulated into several different looks.  Cardstock and SRM stickers finish the cards.
 
Copic Technique Class - Beginner Level

"Simple Joys" Chipboard Album with Pockets

This beautiful mini album features a clever construction and more pages than you have pictures!   Each page of the album is actually a top-loading pocket so in addition to the space on the page, you have space to insert even more photos and notes without cluttering up the look of the album.  This project showcases the Peacock Lane collection by Bo Bunny and is bound with the Bind-It-All machine.  Please bring a portable trimmer, brown chalk ink, and your favorite adhesive.
Fun Flip Card & Buckle Card

Come make these two beautiful cards.  Each has a little extra “pop” that is sure to delight friends and family!  Make a beautiful buckle card that can be adapted for any occasion using Creative Imaginations’ “Christine Adolph” paper and a lovely holiday card using the new Bo-Bunny “Winter Joy”  line.  Along with the two cards, you will create a template for each card style.   These templates are yours to keep and will enable you to make more cards after the class!
Supply List: bring your favorite adhesive (tape runner or glue), a sharp pair of small scissors, a pencil, ruler, bone folder, portable paper trimmer (if you have multiple paper trimmers bring your Fiskars, 12 inch, trench style trimmer) and your Scor-Pal if you have one.  If you do not have a Scor-Pal, we will have one available for use during the class.
